Mission Statement

“Never Again Means We Fight Back”

In the spirit of Rabbi Meir Kahane, of blessed memory, and his son Rabbi Binyamin Ze’ev Kahane, we of the Jewish Defense League 613 – Brotherhood and Sisterhood – rise as the unapologetic defenders of Am Yisrael. We are the authentic revival of the original Jewish Defense League, reborn in the shadow of October 7th and the raging antisemitism that followed. We do not beg for protection. We do not apologize for our existence. We do not rely on others to save us. We act.

We exist to protect the Jewish people with Torah as our foundation, strength as our method, and Ahavat Yisrael as our heart. We exist to restore Jewish pride, dignity, and power in an era when too many have forgotten what it means to be a proud Jew who refuses to bow. We exist so that every Jew – from the most observant to the most secular, from those born into the covenant to sincere converts with proper documentation – knows they have a family that will stand with them, train with them, and fight for them.

The Five Pillars of JDL 613

Everything we do flows from these eternal principles taught by Rabbi Kahane:

- Ahavat Yisrael – Unconditional love for every Jew, without exception. No Jew is left behind.

- Hadar – Jewish pride and dignity. We walk tall. We do not cower or apologize.

- Barzel – Iron strength. We train our bodies, master self-defense, and arm ourselves legally because the mitzvah of pikuach nefesh demands it.

- Mishmaat – Discipline and unity. We are an organized, accountable brotherhood and sisterhood with rules, standards, and mutual responsibility.

- Bitachon – Complete faith in Hashem. Our strength comes from above; our actions are sanctified by Torah.

Our Work in Action

We are not a talking organization. We are a doing organization.

We conduct volunteer, random, and often undercover Jewish community patrols to deter antisemitic attacks and provide a real presence of strength where it is needed most. Our members are trained observers and defenders who walk the streets so Jewish families can walk in peace.

We provide comprehensive self-defense and firearms training – Krav Maga, hand-to-hand combat, situational awareness, physical fitness, and responsible firearms handling. We actively help our brothers and sisters obtain their firearms licenses when they need assistance, because every Jew has the God-given right and duty to protect life.

We serve the most vulnerable among us. We volunteer at kosher soup kitchens and personally hand out meals to the homeless, the elderly, and the less fortunate in the Jewish community and beyond. True Jewish strength includes feeding the hungry and lifting the fallen. Ahavat Yisrael is not a slogan – it is action.

We work directly with synagogues to develop professional safety plans and active defense strategies against active shooters, antisemitic mobs, or any threat to our holy places. We train security teams, run realistic drills, and ensure that “Never Again” is backed by preparation, not empty words.

We bring training events to the public – self-defense workshops, security seminars, and Jewish strength programs open to every Jew who wants to learn how to protect themselves, their families, and their communities.

Spreading the Teachings of Rabbi Meir Kahane and Rabbi Binyamin Ze’ev Kahane

Far too many Jews – young and old – have never actually heard what Rabbi Meir Kahane stood for. They have never read his books. They have never encountered the fearless, Torah-based vision of Jewish power, sovereignty, and unapologetic self-defense that he preached with every fiber of his being. The same is true for the profound and courageous writings of his son, Rabbi Binyamin Ze’ev Kahane.

We are changing that. JDL 613 is dedicated to making the complete works, speeches, commentaries, and teachings of Rabbi Meir Kahane and Rabbi Binyamin Ze’ev Kahane accessible to every Jew on earth. Through our website, podcasts, videos, study groups, publications, and events, we ensure that no Jew can honestly say they did not know. We are bringing their message to the next generation and restoring it to the older generation so the fire of authentic Jewish strength never dies. This is one of our most sacred missions.

Torah and Halakha: The Soul of Everything We Do

We spread Torah study and the full observance of Halakha – Jewish law. Rabbi Kahane taught that there is no separation between Torah and the defense of the Jewish people; they are one. We promote daily Torah learning, mitzvah observance, and living as proud, strong Jews according to Jewish law. We reject any version of Judaism that preaches weakness, passivity, or reliance on others while our enemies openly plot our destruction. Torah demands strength. Torah demands action. Torah demands that we live as free and proud Jews in our own land and defend ourselves everywhere we are.

Who We Are

We are a Brotherhood and Sisterhood – a family of Jews from every background and every level of observance. We build chapters across the country. We enforce real standards: physical fitness, firearms licensing within one year of joining where legally possible, regular attendance, and the reading of Kahane’s works. We create leaders, not followers. We produce content that educates, inspires, and mobilizes. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael fighting for full Jewish sovereignty from the river to the sea.

We do not wait for the government. We do not trust others to save us when seconds count. We do not apologize for being strong Jews who refuse to go like sheep to the slaughter.

Our Unwavering Declaration

To the antisemites who attack our people in the streets, on campuses, and online: Know that there are now Jews who will fight back – legally, morally, and with the full force of Jewish will and Torah sanction.

To the weak Jewish leaders and organizations who tell us to stay quiet, hide our identity, and rely on others: Your time is over. The era of Jewish weakness is ending.

To every Jew who has felt afraid to walk the streets wearing a kippah or Magen David, who has hidden their Jewishness, who has felt alone: You are not alone anymore. JDL 613 is here. We are your brothers. We are your sisters. We are your family.

Never Again is not a phrase. It is a command from Heaven and from history.
